This month's challenge is to post pictures of your works of art- either in progress or when complete- to the GroupMe chat! A special prize will be awarded to the photo with the most hearts!
If you'd like to make a suncatcher but cannot attend the event, please contact Meg Beaulieu.
Contest rules:
•Open to all
• Prizes will be awarded based on popular votes in three categories: Under 8,
9-15, and 16 and up.
• You can pre-register to help us prepare the hanging space, but pre-registration is not required. Bring frozen Sun Catchers to the HFA booth by 1:00 pm to be entered into the contest.
• Voting will close at 3pm.
• Please limit the size of your Sun Catcher to 12" round or square for ease of hanging.
• Ensure your Sun Catcher has a hole in it for hanging, large enough for thick twine to pass through (~1/2"-3"). We will provide twine to hang the sun-catcher.
• Please use water and all natural items in your Sun Catcher so that as they melt, we are not littering. Food coloring may be used.
Tips: Use a Bundt pan so your Sun Catcher has a natural hole in it for hanging. Sun Catchers likely need at least 6 hours to freeze.
