First Connections Parent Workshop-Kindergarten Prep
Nurturing Your Children's Literacy and Fine Motor Development in Preparation for Kindergarten. Presented by:Dr. Sharon Ryan,?PreK-2 Literacy & Social Studies Curriculum Coordinator for Acton-Boxborough Schools.<br />Dr. Ryan will discuss ideas about the kinds of activities that families can enjoy together to nurture young children's literacy development in preparation for transitioning to kindergarten. A packet of information which includes a rhyming book that Sharon will use during the presentation, playdoh, scissors, and other fine-motor activity supplies will be available for pickup at First Connections during the 10 days prior to the program (limited to the first 24 registrants).
