Mother Goose on the Loose Storytime @ HPL

Harvard Public Library Event - Please follow instructions below to register through the HPL website!

Mother Goose on the Loose Story time – Ages 0 – 2 and up: Mondays and Thursdays at 10:30

Fall/early winter session runs from September 25 through December 14

Note: no story time on 11/20 and 11/23

Mother Goose on the Loose is an early literacy program that uses rhymes and songs to help pre-reading children get ready for reading. It incorporates music, movement, ritual, repetition, positive reinforcement, developmental tips, nursery rhymes, puppets, musical instruments, colored scarves, and book reading into a fun-filled 30 minute session for infants to 2-year-olds and caregivers (older siblings also welcome).

We will have bags with clean musical instruments, scarves, and stuffed animals to use at storytime (bags must be returned at the conclusion of story time!).  Or, if you prefer, you can bring your own musical instruments, scarf, and a stuffed animal.

Registration is not required
but if you register you will be added to the email list for last minute schedule changes.  This email list will cover the Mother Goose story times from September through December.
